Join Turning Tides for our monthly Community Tide Pooling event in Biddeford Pool! These events are intended for Mainers to get together and explore their own backyard with local marine scientists. Held on the lowest possible tide of each summer month, Community Tide Pooling Events are strategically timed to showcase the greatest diversity of terrain and creatures available.
Meeting Location: The corner of Lester B Orcutt Boulevard and Ocean Avenue in Biddeford Pool.
Parking: There is street parking at this location and on the adjoining streets as well.
Dress code: For your safety, you should wear closed-toed shoes. You will get the most out of tide pooling in waterproof boots and clothes you don’t mind getting wet.
